What Unmet is

Lunch with three strangers from across your campus — a table of three to five, usually four. Every week you can say "I'm in"; the day before, we email you your table — the day, the time, the place, a colour, your tablemates' first names and one line to start on. You show up and find your colour.

Unmet is run by Saleh Fayyaz (individual controller, pilot), in Barcelona, Spain. It's free.

Who can use it

Anyone with a university email, aged 18 or over. By continuing you confirm both.

What we ask of you

• Be kind. At the table, in your posts, in your feedback.
• Show up. If you can't make it, reply to the table email so your tablemates aren't waiting for you.
• Write true things about yourself. The line about your table is only as good as what you wrote.
• Pay for your own lunch.

What we can't promise

A table every week — it takes enough people on your campus saying "I'm in". Or that you'll click with your table: we give you one reason to talk; the rest is lunch.

We don't run the cafeteria or the events people post, and we're not responsible for what happens there.

Your words

What you write is yours. You let us use it to seat you, to write the line about your table, and to propose events — as described in the Privacy page — and nothing else.

Ending things

You can delete your account any time in You; everything goes at once. We may remove an account that breaks the kindness rule.

Liability

Unmet is a free pilot run by one person. To the extent Spanish law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us — which is nothing.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we email you before it applies.
